Cllr Richard Diment
I have lived in Bexley since 1986. My wife teaches at a local primary school. We have two children: both born at Queen Mary’s and educated at local schools.
I work in the building industry managing a training centre for roofing contractors. I am heavily involved in local community activities. I was a Parent Governor at my children’s primary school. I am a Governor of Oxleas NHS Trust where I’ve helped to improve services at Queen Mary’s and the setting up of Bexley Care, which is joining up health and social care across Bexley. I have also worked with the Bexley Moorings Project Charity which supports vulnerable children across the borough.
I want to help make Sidcup the very best of places to live, to work and to visit and to ensure that Council Tax and Business Rate payers receive quality services and value for money.
